How such pricey hotel cannot afford to buy for their needs hotel card envelope sleeves? They just print it on monochrome printer, than cut them out and stick together. Such a shame! Very difficult to use elevator: it's small and the card system is not working properly. Only 1 keycard per room.

My family and I had a lovely stay, we stayed for 1night before heading to the Maldives island resort. Staffs , food &facility met our immediate expectations

We arrived at airport with kids and weren't met like was pre-arranged. Staff said they missed it". And didn't offer anything else ,just short apology.

Food was good. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Its new so everything looks new

Hotel is not child friendly. There are hidden charges like payment of USD 45 per child per day. This should be highlighted in BOLD. In addition, i stayed in a Junior Suite which highlighted that there was an extra large bed and a sofa - bed but the sofa that was provided was not a sofa bed!!! When asked why this was the case, they just said sorry...its an error.. an error on your booking.com website!!? I urge the management to immediately change it to prevent misleeding others. Last i checked, it was still there!!! Also, i was surprised that for a 4 star hotel, there was only one elevator that serves the whole hotel of 10 floors!!

Maagiri was on top form since commencing the booking with them. A host was waiting for us timeously at the airport and we were offered a complimentary ferry ride to Maagiri Hotel. The host, Jehaan, was very very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Check in was swift and we were served a delicious ice tea on arrival  Our room was amazing.. It was modern and very spacious.. We were two adults and two kids and we were not cramped at all.. Views from the room were just wow!! The bathroom was also big, smart and comfy with hot water and a powerful shower!!  Breakfast was included in our package, and all the food items were very tasty, especially the freshly baked goodies!  Situated near Burger King and other good eat outs! And just a 5 minute walk from the beach.. Definitely value for money!!!  On departure, Jehaan also bought my kids a gift, and that was a really nice gesture! Everything about our stay was amazing, and I'd definitely recommend Maagiri to anyone looking for great stay.. I'd definitely recommend Maagiri. All the staff are so friendly and it was really a great stay! And if I ever visit Maldives again, I will go back here!

Our ONLY problem was that we needed to catch a seaplane upon checkout and lots of guests were waiting to be taken to the airport. We were there first, but had to let others go before us, resulting in us missing our seaplane and all our other plans thereafter were delayed The hotel needs to be more vigilant regarding flight times..

Decent apartment overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The hotel is located next to the ferry terminal and right at the heart of Male; so much noise from boat engines shuttling all day, all nite to the Airport and heavy traffic by motor bikes.

The ocean view suit is brilliant and exactly as shown on the pictures. The restaurant staff are accommodating. Shower is powerful. We had a room swap as we needed a late check out, then I forgot to empty the safe. Extremely grateful to the staff who helped getting back what I left in the previous room!

Maybe a bit too noisy for some at night. Being close to the harbour and airport means wanderers, boat workers (evening time repairs), departing airplanes and motor cyclists are close by too. Didn't affect us but maybe not for all.

Proximity to airport and pick up/drop off service was excellent.

Only thing was the location and nothing else. Actually male city can avoided altogether if you think you can explore the city. There's nothing great in the city. Otherwise Maldives is a great place with great resort island properties.

The whole experience of staying at this so-called Four Star Hotel was very sour. The receptionist noted our request for Vegetarian breakfast with fruits to-go as my wife is carrying and she would want have something before an early morning flight. But we only got a chicken sandwich. On asking fruits they provided few fruits(including a half cut apple). I mean we are two people and you give a half cut apple? For the price we paid, I think it was better to atleast reduce the room tariff if you are giving a half cut apple.

Breakfast was really good!

The staff at check-in desk was very amator and they give us a different room that that we booked. It took a while to solve the issue.

Rooms weren’t cleaned, staff were rude and impatient. Chef was the most lovely staff member who took the time to engage in conversation with us at breakfast.

Hotel is qretty new, and good location

When arrive in airport, expected pickup come out, but person didn’t turn on until I called hotel, waited at information counter more than 20 minutes. Hotel charge is too pricy, breakfast is so so, doesn’t match with price they charging.
